Bold Breakthrough: Exciting New Web Design for Electronic Tax Filers

After nearly 20 years in business, Electronic Tax Filers decided it was time to finally have a website built for their business. A staple in the neighborhood, the company was known as the friendly, local tax preparer, and ETF boasted a very loyal customer-base. However, the owner had now become interested in expanding beyond the local area, and also slowly entering the tax preparer training space. The Pier Collective Web Design Studio was trusted to develop a starter website for the established company.

Electronic Tax Filers (ETF) needed a website to help jumpstart their new marketing efforts. In the past, the owner relied solely on word of mouth for new business to add to their already expansive repeat customers. With new tax preparation services popping up each year, ETF knew they needed to make a bold leap into the digital space with a well-designed website.

The Pier Collective Web Design Studio held a strategy session with the owner of ETF. During this session, we gained a new understanding of the tax prepartion world and a website could help jumpstart the online footprint of such a business. We started with a simple text-based logo design that aligned with the imagery ETF was already utilizing on their printed materials. We then researched ideal color palettes for financial services to ensure our design sent the right message. We also gathered testimonials from their past clients to show some social proof.

Electronic Tax Filers now has a solid foundation to their online strategy. They are now able to share their website with new and established customers alike, as well as gatther leads from those who are interested in the preparer role. As they become more comfortable with the idea of being present in the digital world, we have a good starting point to add additional pages, styling, resources, and other information.
